Snap It See It. Whats it all about?

First off, we love instant photography. Like really, we love it. All forms, from Land Cameras and 4×5’s, classic models like the SX-70 and 600’s, to the several Medium Format cameras with pack film backs. Admittedly, we have a soft spot for Impossible Projects new integral films. And we cant leave out Fuji’s Instax cameras, and the fun images they produce.

Get Into Instant!

By Justin Goode

I am completely and utterly obsessed with instant film. The tangibility, the process, the feelings of nostalgia it can provoke, I crave everything about it. It has become such a large part of my life. Many photographers are stuck using digital cameras and have not seen or experienced this incredible medium. The younger generation has gripped onto the digital world with both hands. Don’t disregard instant film because others say it’s a thing of the past. Choose to explore it as an option for creativity.

The What:

This project distributes expired PX70 Color Shade from The Impossible Project with the intention of documenting how these chemicals respond in their expired state. Engaging a wide range of individuals in this experimental photography project ensures even more varied and interesting results. The only requirements are that the photographer must shoot the entire pack of film, and submit all images to be posted on the website.
